Webhook

An automated HTTP callback transmitting event payloads (like inbound chats) from one server to another instantly.

Detailed Definition

Webhooks allow real-time notifications. When a customer messages your WhatsApp number, Meta's servers trigger an HTTP POST webhook request containing the message string, timestamp, and contact number to Botalyzer's webhook relay URLs.
